TSK · Proverbs 29:1

If one man^H376 sin^H2398 against another,^H376 God^H430 shall judge^H6419 him; but if a man^H376 sin^H2398 against Jehovah,^H3068 who shall entreat^H6419 for him? Notwithstanding, they hearkened^H8085 not unto the voice^H6963 of their father,^H1 because Jehovah^H3068 was minded^H2654 to slay^H4191 them.

And Elijah^H452 the Tishbite,^H8664 who was of the sojourners^H8453 of Gilead,^H1568 said^H559 unto Ahab,^H256 As Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of Israel,^H3478 liveth,^H2416 before^H6440 whom I stand,^H5975 there shall not be dew^H2919 nor rain^H4306 these years,^H8141 but according^H6310 to my word.^H1697

And he said^H559 unto him, Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 Because thou hast let go^H7971 out of thy hand^H3027 the man^H376 whom I had devoted to destruction,^H2764 therefore thy life^H5315 shall go for his life,^H5315 and thy people^H5971 for his people.^H5971

And Jehovah^H3068 said,^H559 Who shall entice^H6601 Ahab,^H256 that he may go up^H5927 and fall^H5307 at Ramoth-gilead?^H7433 And one said^H559 on this manner;^H3541 and another said^H559 on that manner.^H3541

And a certain man^H376 drew^H4900 his bow^H7198 at a venture,^H8537 and smote^H5221 the king^H4428 of Israel^H3478 between the joints^H1694 of the armor:^H8302 wherefore he said^H559 unto the driver of his chariot,^H7395 Turn^H2015 thy hand,^H3027 and carry me out^H3318 of the host;^H4264 for I am sore wounded.^H2470

And Jehovah^H3068 spake^H1696 to Manasseh,^H4519 and to his people;^H5971 but they gave no heed.^H7181

And Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of their fathers,^H1 sent^H7971 to them by^H3027 his messengers,^H4397 rising up early^H7925 and sending,^H7971 because he had compassion^H2550 on his people,^H5971 and on his dwelling-place:^H4583

and testifiedst^H5749 against them, that thou mightest bring them again^H7725 unto thy law.^H8451 Yet they dealt proudly,^H2102 and hearkened^H8085 not unto thy commandments,^H4687 but sinned^H2398 against thine ordinances,^H4941 (which if a man^H120 do,^H6213 he shall live^H2421 in them), and withdrew^H5414 the shoulder,^H3802 and hardened^H7185 their neck,^H6203 and would not hear.^H8085

Therefore shall his calamity^H343 come^H935 suddenly;^H6597 On a sudden^H6621 shall he be broken,^H7665 and that without remedy.^H4832

Whoso walketh^H1980 uprightly^H8549 shall be delivered;^H3467 But he that is perverse^H6140 in [his] ways^H1870 shall fall^H5307 at once.^H259

therefore this iniquity^H5771 shall be to you as a breach^H6556 ready to fall,^H5307 swelling out^H1158 in a high^H7682 wall,^H2346 whose breaking^H7667 cometh^H935 suddenly^H6597 in an instant.^H6621

Hast thou utterly^H3988 rejected^H3988 Judah?^H3063 hath thy soul^H5315 loathed^H1602 Zion?^H6726 why hast thou smitten^H5221 us, and there is no healing^H4832 for us? We looked^H6960 for peace,^H7965 but no good^H2896 came; and for a time^H6256 of healing,^H4832 and, behold, dismay!^H1205

From the thirteenth^H7969 year^H8141 of Josiah^H2977 the son^H1121 of Amon,^H526 king^H4428 of Judah,^H3063 even unto this day,^H3117 these three^H7969 and twenty^H6242 years,^H8141 the word^H1697 of Jehovah^H3068 hath come unto me, and I have spoken^H1696 unto you, rising up early^H7925 and speaking;^H1696 but ye have not hearkened.^H8085

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 the God^H430 of Israel:^H3478 Go,^H1980 and say^H559 to the men^H376 of Judah^H3063 and the inhabitants^H3427 of Jerusalem,^H3389 Will ye not receive^H3947 instruction^H4148 to hearken^H8085 to my words?^H1697 saith^H5002 Jehovah.^H3068

But they refused^H3985 to hearken,^H7181 and pulled away^H5414 the shoulder,^H3802 and stopped^H3513 their ears,^H241 that they might not hear.^H8085

Jesus^G2424 answered^G611 them,^G846 Did^G1586 not^G3756 I^G1473 choose^G1586 you^G5209 the twelve,^G1427 and^G2532 one^G1520 of^G1537 you^G5216 is^G2076 a devil?^G1228

I speak^G3004 not^G3756 of^G4012 you^G5216 all:^G3956 I^G1473 know^G1492 whom^G3739 I have chosen:^G1586 but^G235 that^G2443 the scripture^G1124 may be fulfilled:^G4137 He that^G3588 eateth^{G5176 G3326} my^G1700 bread^G740 lifted up^G1869 his^G846 heel^G4418 against^G1909 me.^G1700

(Now^G3767 this man^G3778 obtained^G2932 a field^G5564 with^G1537 the reward^G3408 of his iniquity;^G93 and^G2532 falling^G1096 headlong,^G4248 he burst asunder^G2997 in the midst,^G3319 and^G2532 all^G3956 his^G846 bowels^G4698 gushed out.^G1632

^G1063 When^G3752 they are saying,^G3004 Peace^G1515 and^G2532 safety,^G803 then^G5119 sudden^G160 destruction^G3639 cometh^G2186 upon them,^G846 as^G5618 travail^G5604 upon^G3588 a woman^G2192 with^G1722 child;^G1064 and^G2532 they shall^G1628 in no^G3361 wise escape.^G3756
