1 H e that dwellethH3427 in the secretH5643 place of the Most HighH5945 Shall abideH3885 under the shadowH6738 of the Almighty.H7706
2 I will sayH559 of Jehovah,H3068 He is my refugeH4268 and my fortress;H4686 My God,H430 in whom I trust.H982
3 For he will deliverH5337 thee from the snareH6341 of the fowler,H3353 And from the deadlyH1942 pestilence.H1698
4 He will coverH5526 thee with his pinions,H84 And under his wingsH3671 shalt thou take refuge:H2620 His truthH571 is a shieldH6793 and a buckler.H5507
5 Thou shalt not be afraidH3372 for the terrorH6343 by night,H3915 Nor for the arrowH2671 that fliethH5774 by day;H3119
6 For the pestilenceH1698 that walkethH1980 in darkness,H652 Nor for the destructionH6986 that wastethH7736 at noonday.H6672
7 A thousandH505 shall fallH5307 at thy side,H6654 And ten thousandH7233 at thy right hand;H3225 [But] it shall not come nighH5066 thee.
8 Only with thine eyesH5869 shalt thou behold,H5027 And seeH7200 the rewardH8011 of the wicked.H7563
9 For thou, O Jehovah,H3068 art my refugeH4268! Thou hast madeH7760 the Most HighH5945 thy habitation;H4583
10 There shall no evilH7451 befallH579 thee, Neither shall any plagueH5061 come nighH7126 thy tent.H168
11 For he will give his angelsH4397 chargeH6680 over thee, To keepH8104 thee in all thy ways.H1870
12 They shall bear thee upH5375 in their hands,H3709 Lest thou dashH5062 thy footH7272 against a stone.H68
13 Thou shalt treadH1869 upon the lionH7826 and adder:H6620 The young lionH3715 and the serpentH8577 shalt thou trample under foot.H7429
14 Because he hath set his loveH2836 upon me, therefore will I deliverH6403 him: I will set him on high,H7682 because he hath knownH3045 my name.H8034
15 He shall callH7121 upon me, and I will answerH6030 him; I will be with him in trouble:H6869 I will deliverH2502 him, and honorH3513 him.
