Thou hast also given^H5414 me the shield^H4043 of thy salvation;^H3468 And thy gentleness^H6031 hath made me great.^H7235

A false^H8267 witness^H5707 that uttereth^H6315 lies,^H3577 And he that soweth^H7971 discord^H4090 among brethren.^H251

It is better^H2896 to dwell^H3427 in the corner^H6438 of the housetop,^H1406 Than with a contentious^H4079 woman^H802 in a wide^H2267 house.^H1004

Take^G142 my^G3450 yoke^G2218 upon^G1909 you,^G5209 and^G2532 learn^G3129 of^G575 me;^G1700 for^G3754 I am^G1510 meek^G4235 and^G2532 lowly^G5011 in heart:^G2588 and^G2532 ye shall find^G2147 rest^G372 unto^G5590 your^G5216 souls.^G5590

nor^G3777 thieves,^G2812 nor^G3777 covetous,^G4123 nor^G3777 drunkards,^G3183 nor^G3756 revilers,^G3060 nor^G3756 extortioners,^G727 shall^G3756 inherit^G2816 the kingdom^G932 of God.^G2316

Now^G1161 I^G1473 Paul^G3972 myself^G846 entreat^G3870 you^G5209 by^G1223 the meekness^G4236 and^G2532 gentleness^G1932 of Christ,^G5547 I who^G3739 in^G2596 your presence^G4383 am^G3303 lowly^G5011 among^G1722 you,^G5209 but^G1161 being absent^G548 am of good courage^G2292 toward^G1519 you:^G5209

But^G1161 the fruit^G2590 of the Spirit^G4151 is^G2076 love,^G26 joy,^G5479 peace,^G1515 longsuffering,^G3115 kindness,^G5544 goodness,^G19 faithfulness,^G4102

So then,^G3767 as^G5613 we have^G2192 opportunity,^G2540 let us work^G2038 that which is good^G18 toward^G4314 all^G3956 men, and^G1161 especially^G3122 toward^G4314 them that are^G3588 of the household^G3609 of the faith.^G4102

Let^G142 all^G3956 bitterness,^G4088 and^G2532 wrath,^G2372 and^G2532 anger,^G3709 and^G2532 clamor,^G2906 and^G2532 railing,^G988 be put away^G142 from^G575 you,^G5216 with^G4862 all^G3956 malice:^G2549

Put on^G1746 therefore,^G3767 as^G5613 God's^G2316 elect,^G1588 holy^G40 and^G2532 beloved,^G25 a heart^G4698 of compassion,^G3628 kindness,^G5544 lowliness,^G5012 meekness,^G4236 longsuffering;^G3115

For,^G1063 He that would^G2309 love^G25 life,^G2222 And^G2532 see^G1492 good^G18 days,^G2250 Let him refrain^G3973 his^G846 tongue^G1100 from^G575 evil,^G2556 And^G2532 his^G846 lips^G5491 that they speak^G2980 no^G3361 guile:^G1388

but^G1161 chiefly^G3122 them that walk^G4198 after^G3694 the flesh^G4561 in^G1722 the lust^G1939 of defilement,^G3394 and^G2532 despise^G2706 dominion.^G2963 Daring,^G5113 self-willed,^G829 they G0 tremble^G5141 not^G3756 to rail^G987 at dignities:^G1391

But^G3303 these^G3778 rail^G987 at whatsoever^G3745 things they know^G1492 not:^G3756 and^G1161 what^G3745 they understand^G1987 naturally,^G5447 like^G5613 the creatures^G2226 without reason,^G249 in^G1722 these things^G5125 are they destroyed.^G1161
