I seke not myne owne praise, there is one that seketh, and iudgeth.
Iesus aunswered, & sayde vnto hym: If a man loue me, he wyll kepe my sayinges: and my father wyll loue hym, and we wyll come vnto hym, and dwell with hym.
As the father hath loued me, euen so haue I loued you: Continue ye in my loue.
I haue declared thy name vnto ye men, which thou gauest me out of ye world. Thyne they were, and thou gauest the me, and they haue kepte thy worde.
And yf Christe be in you, the body is dead because of sinne: but the spirite is lyfe for ryghteousnesse sake.
For as the body is one, & hath many members, and all the members of one body, though they be many, yet are but one body: euen so is Christe.
To the prayse of the glorie of his grace, wherein he hath made vs accepted in the beloued.
But God which is ryche in mercie, for his great loue wherwith he loued vs,
For we are members of his body, of his flesshe, and of his bones.
To whom God woulde make knowe what is the riches of the glorie of this misterie among the gentiles, which is Christe in you, the hope of glorie:
Where is neither Greke nor Iewe, circumcision nor vncircumcision, Barbarian, Sythian, bonde, free: but Christe is all, and in all.
Saying: I wyll declare thy name vnto my brethren, in the myddes of the Churche wyll I prayse thee.
Hereby knowe we that we dwell in hym, & he in vs: because he hath geuen vs of his spirite.
