To the chiefe musition vpon Sosanim (a psalme) of Dauid. Saue me O Lorde: for waters haue entred in vnto my soule.

I am free among the dead: like such as beyng kylled lye in a graue, whom thou remembrest no more, and are cut away from thy hande.

Because he hath enclined his eare vnto me: therfore I wyll call vpon hym as long as I lyue.

They haue powred water vpon my head: then thought I, nowe am I vndone.

And he saide vnto them, Take me, and cast me into the sea, and the sea shalbe calme vnto you: for I know that for my sake this great tempest is vpon you.
