The brother shall delyuer vp the brother to death, and the father the sonne, & the chyldren shall ryse agaynst their fathers, and mothers, and shall put them to death.
And happy is he that is not offended in me.
And they were offended in hym. Iesus sayde vnto them: A prophete is not without honour, saue in his owne countrey, and in his owne house.
Then sayth Iesus vnto them: All ye shalbe offeded because of me this night. For it is written: I wyll smyte the shephearde, and the sheepe of the flocke shalbe scattered abrode.
