And the Lorde smelled a sweete or quiet sauour, and the Lord sayde in his heart: I wyll not hencefoorth curse the grounde any more for mans sake, for the imagination of mans heart is euyll euen from his youth: neyther wyll I smyte any more euery thyng lyuyng, as I haue done.

My fruite is better then golde and pretious stones, and mine encrease more worth then fine siluer.

A wholsome tongue is a tree of lyfe: but the frowardnesse therof doth make sad the spirite.

There is golde, and a multitude of precious stones: but the lippes of knowledge are a precious iewell.

A worde spoken in due season, is lyke apples of golde in a graued worke of siluer.

O generation of vipers, howe can ye speake good thynges, when ye your selues are euyll? For out of the aboundauce of the heart, the mouth speaketh.
