I haue not forsaken the comaundemet of his lippes, but loke what he charged me with his mouth, that haue I shutt vp in my herte.

Yee the rightuous shal possesse ye lode, & dwell therin for euer.

Therfore shal they eate ye frutes of their owne waye, and be fylled wt their owne councels:

yt thou mayest regarde good councell, and that thy lippes maye kepe nurtoure.

Because he wolde not be refourmed, he shal dye: and for his greate foolishnesse he shal be destroyed.

A wholsome tonge is a tre of life, but he that abuseth it, hath a broken mynde.

What helpeth it to geue a foole money in his hode, where as he hath no mynde to bye wy?dome?

For the wordes of ye wyse are like prickes and nales that go thorow, wherwith men are kepte together: for they are geuen of one shepherde onely.

and will geue you hyrdme after myne owne mynde, which shal fede you with lernynge and wy?dome.

my people perish, because they haue no knowlege. Seinge then that thou hast refused vnderstondinge, therfore wil I refuse ye also: so that thou shalt nomore be my prest. And for so moch as thou hast forgotten the lawe of thy God, I wil also forget thy childre.

But this is ye codempnacion, that the light is come in to the worlde, and men loued the darknesse more the ye light: for their workes were euell.

And as they regarded not to knowe God, euen so God gaue the vp in to a lewde mynde, to do those thinges which were not comly,
