Behold, I send you as sheepe in the middes of the wolues: be yee therefore wise as serpents, and innocent as doues.

As also ye chiefe Priest doeth beare me witnes, & al the company of the Elders: of whom also I receiued letters vnto the brethren, and went to Damascus to bring them which were there, bound vnto Hierusalem, that they might be punished.

Except it be for this one voyce, that I cried standing among them, Of the resurrection of the dead am I accused of you this day.

For this cause therefore haue I called for you, to see you, and to speake with you: for that hope of Israels sake, I am bound with this chaine.
