Then they smote the men that were at the doore of the house with blindnes both small and great, so that they were wearie in seeking the doore.

Then Elisha prayed, and saide, Lorde, I beseech thee, open his eyes, that he may see; the Lorde opened the eyes of the seruant, and he looked, and beholde, the mountaine was full of horses and charets of fyre round about Elisha.

Nowe therefore behold, the hand of the Lorde is vpon thee, and thou shalt be blinde, and not see the sunne for a season; immediately there fel on him a mist & a darknes; and he went about, seeking some to leade him by the hand.
