TSK · Exodus 13:14

So shal my righteousnesse answere for me hereafter, when it shall come for my rewarde before thy face, and euery one that hath not litle or great spots among the goates, and blacke among the sheepe, the same shalbe theft with me.

Also I will take you for my people, & will be your God: then ye shall knowe that I the Lord your God bring you out from the burdens of the Egyptians.

And when your children aske you, What seruice is this ye keepe?

Then Moses sayd vnto the people, Remember this day in the which ye came out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage: for by a mightie hande the Lorde brought you out from thence: therefore no leauened bread shall bee eaten.

I am the Lorde thy God, which haue brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

For, remember that thou wast a seruant in the land of Egypt, and that the Lorde thy God brought thee out thence by a mightie hand and a stretched out arme: therefore the Lord thy God commanded thee to obserue the Sabbath day.

When thy sonne shall aske thee in time to come, saying, What meane these testimonies, and ordinances, and Lawes, which the Lorde our God hath commaunded you?

That this may bee a signe among you, that whe your children shal aske their fathers in time to come, saying, What meane you by these stones?

And if we haue not rather done it for feare of this thing, saying, In time to come your children might say vnto our children, What haue ye to doe with the Lord God of Israel?

And forsooke ye Lord God of their fathers, which brought them out of the lande of Egypt, & followed other gods, euen the gods of the people that were round about them, & bowed vnto them, and prouoked the Lord to anger.

Remember his marueilous workes that he hath done, his wonders, and the iudgementes of his mouth,

Wee will not hide them from their children but to the generation to come we wil shewe the praises of the Lord his power also, & his wonderful woorkes that he hath done:

Generation shal praise thy works vnto generation, and declare thy power.

And nowe, O Lorde our God, that hast brought thy people out of the land of Egypt with a mightie hand, and hast gotten thee renoume, as appeareth this day, we haue sinned, we haue done wickedly.
