The Lord killeth and maketh aliue: bringeth downe to the graue and raiseth vp.

And he sayde vnto me, Sonne of man, can these bones liue? And I answered, O Lorde God, thou knowest.

And he charged them straitly that no man should knowe of it, and commaunded to giue her meate.

For likewise as the Father rayseth vp the dead, and quickeneth them, so the Sonne quickeneth whom he will.

I and my Father are one.

Iesus saide, Take ye away the stone. Martha the sister of him that was dead, said vnto him, Lorde, he stinketh alreadie: for he hath bene dead foure dayes.

And he stouped downe, and sawe the linnen clothes lying: yet went he not in.

And there sate in a windowe a certaine yong man, named Eutychus, fallen into a dead sleepe: and as Paul was long preaching, hee ouercome with sleepe, fell downe from the thirde loft, and was taken vp dead.

And am aliue, but I was dead: and beholde, I am aliue for euermore, Amen: and I haue the keyes of hell and of death.
