These also are the names of the sonnes of Leui in their generations: Gershon & Kohath and Merari (and the yeres of the life of Leui were an hundreth thirtie and seuen yere)

Of Gershon came the familie of the Libnites, and the familie of the Shimeites: these are the families of the Gershonites.

Al the cities of the Gershonites according to their families, were thirteene cities with their suburbes.

And to the sonnes of Gershom according to their families out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteene cities.
