Nowe when Moses had finished the setting vp of the Tabernacle, and anointed it & sanctified it, and all the instrumentes thereof, and the altar with al the instruments thereof, and had anoynted them and sanctified them,
And Salomon offered a sacrifice of peace offrings which he offered vnto the Lorde, to wit, two and twentie thousande beeues, and an hundreth and twentie thousande sheepe: so the king & all the children of Israel dedicated the house of the Lorde.
And in the eight day they made a solemne assemblie: for they had made the dedication of the altar seuen daies, and the feast seuen dayes.
And in the dedication of the wall at Ierusalem they sought the Leuites out of all their places to bring them to Ierusalem to keepe the dedication and gladnes, both with thanksgiuings & with songs, cymbales, violes and with harpes.
A Psalme or song of the dedication of the house of Dauid. I will magnifie thee, O Lorde: for thou hast exalted mee, and hast not made my foe to reioyce ouer me.
