But ye haue despised all my counsell, and would none of my correction.

My sonne, forget not thou my Lawe, but let thine heart keepe my commandements.

When he taught me, and sayde vnto me, Let thine heart holde fast my woordes: keepe my commandements, and thou shalt liue.

And say, How haue I hated instruction, and mine heart despised correction!

For the commandement is a lanterne, and instruction a light: and corrections for instruction are the way of life,

Instruction is euill to him that forsaketh the way, and he that hateth correction, shall die.

Incline thine eare, and heare the wordes of the wise, and apply thine heart vnto my knowledge.

(5:5) Suffer not thy mouth to make thy flesh to sinne: neither say before the Angel, that this is ignorance: wherefore shall God bee angry by thy voyce, and destroy the worke of thine hands?

But hee saide, Yea, rather blessed are they that heare the woorde of God, and keepe it.

See that ye despise not him that speaketh: for if they escaped not which refused him, that spake on earth: much more shall we not escape, if we turne away from him, that speaketh fro heauen.
