He that is first in his owne cause, is iust: then commeth his neighbour, and maketh inquirie of him.
Trauaile not too much to be rich: but cease from thy wisdome.
The sluggard is wiser in his owne conceite, then seuen men that can render a reason.
Woe vnto them that are wise in their owne eyes, and prudent in their owne sight.
Behold, thou art wiser then Daniel: there is no secrete, that they can hide from thee.
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this secret (least ye should bee arrogant in your selues) that partly obstinacie is come to Israel, vntill the fulnesse of the Gentiles be come in.
Let no man deceiue himselfe: If any man among you seeme to be wise in this world, let him be a foole, that he may be wise.
