TSK · Proverbs 30:10

Beware that there be not a wicked thought in thine heart, to say, The seuenth yeere, the yeere of freedome is at hand: therefore it grieueth thee to looke on thy poore brother, and thou giuest him nought, and he crie vnto the Lorde against thee, so that sinne be in thee:

Then answered Doeg the Edomite (who was appoynted ouer the seruants of Saul) & sayd, I saw the sonne of Ishai when he came to Nob, to Ahimelech the sonne of Ahitub,

Now therefore, I beseech thee, let my lord the King heare the wordes of his seruant. If the Lord haue stirred thee vp against me, let him smel the sauour of a sacrifice: but if the children of men haue done it, cursed be they before the Lorde: for they haue cast me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of the Lorde, saying, Goe, serue other gods.

When Dauid was a litle past the toppe of the hill, behold, Ziba the seruant of Mephibosheth mette him with a couple of asses sadled, and vpon them two hundreth cakes of bread, and an hundreth bunches of raisins, and an hundreth of dryed figges, and a bottel of wine.

Thus Ioash the King remembred not the kindnesse which Iehoiada his father had done to him, but slewe his sonne; when he dyed, he sayd, The Lord looke vpon it, and require it.

Also these things perteine to the wise, It is not good to haue respect of any person in iudgement.

(7:23) Giue not thine heart also to all ye wordes that men speake, lest thou doe heare thy seruant cursing thee.

Then answered they, and sayd vnto the King, This Daniel which is of the children of the captiuitie of Iudah, regardeth not thee, O King, nor the decree, that thou hast sealed, but maketh his petition three times a day.

Who art thou that condemnest another mans seruant? Hee standeth or falleth to his owne master: yea, he shalbe established: for God is able to make him stand.
