And I charged your iudges that same time, saying, Heare the controuersies betweene your brethren, and iudge righteously betwene euery man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him.

A Psalme of Salomon. Giue thy iudgements to the King, O God, and thy righteousnesse to the Kings sonne.

It is an abomination to Kings to commit wickednes: for the throne is stablished by iustice.

Learne to doe well: seeke iudgement, relieue the oppressed: iudge the fatherlesse and defend the widowe.

But with righteousnesse shall he iudge the poore, and with equitie shall he reprooue for the meeke of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lippes shall he slay the wicked.

They are waxen fat and shining: they doe ouerpasse the deedes of the wicked: they execute no iudgement, no not the iudgement of the fatherlesse: yet they prosper, though they execute no iudgement for the poore.

Thus saith the Lorde, Execute ye iudgement and righteousnes, and deliuer the oppressed from the hande of the oppressor, and vexe not the stranger, the fatherlesse, nor the widowe: doe no violence, nor sheade innocent blood in this place.

Behold, The dayes come, saith the Lord, that I will raise vnto Dauid a righteous branche, and a King shal reigne, and prosper, and shall execute iudgement, and iustice in the earth.

Amos 5:11 TSK

Forasmuch then as your treading is vpon the poore, and yee take from him burdens of wheate, ye haue built houses of hewen stone, but ye shal not dwel in them: ye haue plated pleasant vineyards, but ye shal not drinke wine of them.

Reioyce greatly, O daughter Zion: shoute for ioy, O daughter Ierusalem: beholde, thy King commeth vnto thee: he is iust and saued himselfe, poore and riding vpon an asse, and vpon a colt the foale of an asse.

Thou hast loued righteousnes & hated iniquitie. Wherefore God, eue thy God, hath anointed thee with the oyle of gladnes aboue thy felowes.
