Againe shee sayde vnto him, Howe canst thou say, I loue thee, when thine heart is not with me? thou hast mocked mee these three times, and hast not tolde me wherein thy great strength lieth.

My soule is among lions: I lie among the children of men, that are set on fire: whose teeth are speares and arrowes, & their tongue a sharpe sworde.

And he followed her straight wayes, as an oxe that goeth to the slaughter, and as a foole to the stockes for correction,

For a whore is as a deepe ditche, and a strange woman is as a narrowe pitte.

For the worde of God is liuely, and mightie in operation, & sharper then any two edged sword, and entreth through, euen vnto the diuiding asunder of the soule and the spirit, and of the ioints, and the marow, and is a discerner of the thoughtes, and the intents of the heart.
