Behold, I have done^H6213H8804 according to thy words^H1697: lo, I have given^H5414H8804 thee a wise^H2450 and an understanding^H995H8737 heart^H3820; so that there was none like thee before^H6440 thee, neither after^H310 thee shall any arise^H6965H8799 like unto thee.

And all the earth^H776 sought^H1245H8764 to^H6440 Solomon^H8010, to hear^H8085H8800 his wisdom^H2451, which God^H430 had put^H5414H8804 in his heart^H3820.

And thou^H607, Ezra^H5831, after the wisdom^H2452 of thy God^H426, that is in thine hand^H3028, set^H4483H8740 magistrates^H8200H8751 and judges^H1782, which may judge^{H1934H8748H1778H8751} all^H3606 the people^H5972 that are beyond^H5675 the river^H5103, all^H3606 such as know^H3046H8751 the laws^H1882 of thy God^H426; and teach^H3046H8681 ye them that know^H3046H8751 them not^H3809.

With him is strength^H5797 and wisdom^H8454: the deceived^H7683H8802 and the deceiver^H7686H8688 are his.

He that chastiseth^H3256H8802 the heathen^H1471, shall not he correct^H3198H8686? he that teacheth^H3925H8764 man^H120 knowledge^H1847, shall not he know?

Thou through thy commandments^H4687 hast made me wiser^H2449H8762 than mine enemies^H341H8802: for they are ever^H5769 with me.

For the commandment^H4687 is a lamp^H5216; and the law^H8451 is light^H216; and reproofs^H8433 of instruction^H4148 are the way^H1870 of life^H2416:

For God giveth^H5414H8804 to a man^H120 that is good^H2896 in his sight^H6440 wisdom^H2451, and knowledge^H1847, and joy^H8057: but to the sinner^H2398H8802 he giveth^H5414H8804 travail^H6045, to gather^H622H8800 and to heap up^H3664H8800, that he may give^H5414H8800 to him that is good^H2896 before^H6440 God^H430. This also is vanity^H1892 and vexation^H7469 of spirit^H7307.

That^G2443 the God^G2316 of our^G2257 Lord^G2962 Jesus^G2424 Christ^G5547, the Father^G3962 of glory^G1391, may give^{G1325G5632G5630} unto you^G5213 the spirit^G4151 of wisdom^G4678 and^G2532 revelation^G602 in^G1722 the knowledge^G1922 of him^G846:

Every^G3956 good^G18 gift^G1394 and^G2532 every^G3956 perfect^G5046 gift^G1434 is^G2076G5748 from above^G509, and cometh down^G2597G5723 from^G575 the Father^G3962 of lights^G5457, with^G3844 whom^G3739 is^G1762G5748 no^G3756 variableness^G3883, neither^G2228 shadow^G644 of turning^G5157.
