العودة إلى المقطع

[It is] better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that [is] the end of all men; and the living will lay [it] to his heart.

Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.

‹But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.›

‹Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.›

‹Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.›

‹And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and› [so] ‹that day come upon you unawares.›

And said unto them, ‹Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.›

¶ And that, knowing the time, that now [it is] high time to awake out of sleep: for now [is] our salvation nearer than when we believed.

Then [cometh] the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord [is] at hand.

¶ Therefore let us not sleep, as [do] others; but let us watch and be sober.

Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

James 5:8 TSK

Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with [them] according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

¶ The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

‹Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed› [is] he that watcheth, ‹and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.›
