Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.

¶ The king's wrath [is] as the roaring of a lion; but his favour [is] as dew upon the grass.

¶ A stone [is] heavy, and the sand weighty; but a fool's wrath [is] heavier than them both.

The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill.

¶ Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: [therefore] he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.

‹But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.›
