العودة إلى المقطع

¶ Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, [being] bound in affliction and iron;

The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

¶ Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.

But this [is] a people robbed and spoiled; [they are] all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.

¶ The Spirit of the Lord GOD [is] upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to [them that are] bound;

‹The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.›

Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

‹To open their eyes,› [and] ‹to turn› [them] ‹from darkness to light, and› [from] ‹the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.›

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

¶ Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

‹I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and› [that] ‹the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.›
