And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear [the causes] between your brethren, and judge righteously between [every] man and his brother, and the stranger [that is] with him.
¶ To the chief Musician, Altaschith, Michtam of David. Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?
¶ These [things] also [belong] to the wise. [It is] not good to have respect of persons in judgment.
And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
¶ My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, [the Lord] of glory, with respect of persons.
But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
