And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.

Ezra 1:1 TSK

¶ Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and [put it] also in writing, saying,

And kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy: for the LORD had made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria unto them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.

O Lord, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king's cupbearer.

And a letter unto Asaph the keeper of the king's forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the palace which [appertained] to the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall enter into. And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.

Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: thou driedst up mighty rivers.

¶ He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.

The sea saw [it], and fled: Jordan was driven back.

¶ The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, [is] from the LORD.

¶ Man's goings [are] of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way?

That saith to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up thy rivers:

And all the inhabitants of the earth [are] reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and [among] the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
