العودة إلى المقطع

Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;

And the LORD spake to Manasseh, and to his people: but they would not hearken.

Job 22:29 TSK

When [men] are cast down, then thou shalt say, [There is] lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.

¶ [When] pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly [is] wisdom.

¶ Pride [goeth] before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

For all those [things] hath mine hand made, and all those [things] have been, saith the LORD: but to this [man] will I look, [even] to [him that is] poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:

¶ ‹Blessed› [are] ‹the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.›

‹And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.›

‹I tell you, this man went down to his house justified› [rather] ‹than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.›

James 4:6 TSK

But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
