TSK · 1 Peter 2:11

“I am a foreign resident, a temporary settler, among you. Grant me ownership of a burial site among you so that I may bury my dead.”

As for a woman whom a man goes to bed with, then has a seminal emission, they must bathe in water and be unclean until evening.

For we are resident foreigners and temporary settlers in your presence, like all our ancestors; our days are like a shadow on the earth, without security.

I am a resident foreigner in this land. Do not hide your commands from me!

Be Ready!“But be on your guard so that your hearts are not weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of this life, and that day close down upon you suddenly like a trap.

that you abstain from meat that has been sacrificed to idols and from blood and from what has been strangled and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from doing these things, you will do well. Farewell.

(for if you live according to the flesh, you will die), but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body you will live.

Let us live decently as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in discord and jealousy.

God’s Suffering Servants Now because we are fellow workers, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

But I say, live by the Spirit and you will not carry out the desires of the flesh.

Live in Unity I, therefore, the prisoner for the Lord, urge you to live worthily of the calling with which you have been called,

But keep away from youthful passions, and pursue righteousness, faithfulness, love, and peace, in company with others who call on the Lord from a pure heart.

These all died in faith without receiving the things promised, but they saw them in the distance and welcomed them and acknowledged that they were strangers and foreigners on the earth.

¶ Salutation From Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those temporarily residing abroad(in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, the province of Asia, and Bithynia) who are chosen

in that he spends the rest of his time on earth concerned about the will of God and not human desires.
