TSK · 1 Samuel 23:7

The enemy said,‘I will chase, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my desire will be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword, my hand will destroy them.’

David stayed in the strongholds that were in the desert and in the hill country of the wilderness of Ziph. Saul looked for him all the time, but God did not deliver David into his hand.

Abishai said to David,“Today God has delivered your enemy into your hands. Now let me drive the spear right through him into the ground with one swift jab! A second jab won’t be necessary!”

For my enemies talk about me; those waiting for a chance to kill me plot my demise.

For the days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and surround you and close in on you from every side.
