When the Israelites cried out for help to the LORD, he raised up a deliverer for the Israelites who rescued them. His name was Othniel son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother.
All Judah was happy about the oath, because they made the vow with their whole heart. They willingly sought the LORD and he responded to them. He made them secure on every side.
Yet he took notice of their distress, when he heard their cry for help.
Seek the LORD while he makes himself available; call to him while he is nearby!

And Isaiah is even bold enough to say,“I was found by those who did not seek me; I became well known to those who did not ask for me.”
