He cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree. When Moses threw it into the water, the water became safe to drink. There the LORD made for them a binding ordinance, and there he tested them.

He said,“Get some flour.” Then he threw it into the pot and said,“Now pour some out for the men so they may eat.” There was no longer anything harmful in the pot.

He turned streams into a desert, springs of water into arid land,

“Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you and say all kinds of evil things about you falsely on account of me.

Having said this, he spat on the ground and made some mud with the saliva. He smeared the mud on the blind man’s eyes
