Then the priest must take up from the grain offering its memorial portion and offer it up in smoke on the altar– it is a gift of a soothing aroma to the LORD.

Staring at him and becoming greatly afraid, Cornelius replied,“What is it, Lord?” The angel said to him,“Your prayers and your acts of charity have gone up as a memorial before God.

For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love you have demonstrated for his name, in having served and continuing to serve the saints.

Another angel holding a golden censer came and was stationed at the altar. A large amount of incense was given to him to offer up, with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar that is before the throne.
