The kings of the earth form a united front; the rulers collaborate against the LORD and his anointed king.

You love justice and hate evil. For this reason God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of joy, elevating you above your companions.

The Lord Commissions His Special Servant“Here is my servant whom I support, my chosen one in whom I take pleasure. I have placed my Spirit on him; he will make just decrees for the nations.

Jesus’ Healing Ministry Jesus went throughout all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and sickness among the people.

Workers for the Harvest Then Jesus went throughout all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and sickness.

But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has already overtaken you.

He replied,“Let us go elsewhere, into the surrounding villages, so that I can preach there too. For that is what I came out here to do.”

Jesus gave them permission. So the unclean spirits came out and went into the pigs. Then the herd rushed down the steep slope into the lake, and about two thousand were drowned in the lake.

As they got out of the boat, people immediately recognized Jesus.

and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven,“You are my one dear Son; in you I take great delight.”

Now in the synagogue there was a man who had the spirit of an unclean demon, and he cried out with a loud voice,

Raising a Widow’s Son Soon afterward Jesus went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd went with him.

As the boy was approaching, the demon threw him to the ground and shook him with convulsions. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.

came to Jesus at night and said to him,“Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs that you do unless God is with him.”

Do not work for the food that disappears, but for the food that remains to eternal life– the food which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has put his seal of approval on him.”

do you say about the one whom the Father set apart and sent into the world,‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said,‘I am the Son of God’?

“Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man clearly attested to you by God with powerful deeds, wonders, and miraculous signs that God performed among you through him, just as you yourselves know–

You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness. So God, your God, has anointed you over your companions with the oil of rejoicing.”

Be sober and alert. Your enemy the devil, like a roaring lion, is on the prowl looking for someone to devour.
