I post watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they should keep praying all day and all night. You who pray to the LORD, don’t be silent!

Prayer and the Parable of the Persistent Widow Then Jesus told them a parable to show them they should always pray and not lose heart.

If one member suffers, everyone suffers with it. If a member is honored, all rejoice with it.

With every prayer and petition, pray at all times in the Spirit, and to this end be alert, with all perseverance and petitions for all the saints.

Remember those in prison as though you were in prison with them, and those ill-treated as though you too felt their torment.
