When Jehu rejoined his master’s servants, they asked him,“Is everything all right? Why did this madman visit you?” He replied,“Ah, it’s not important. You know what kind of man he is and the kinds of things he says.”

Now when they heard about the resurrection from the dead, some began to scoff, but others said,“We will hear you again about this.”

While Paul was discussing righteousness, self-control, and the coming judgment, Felix became frightened and said,“Go away for now, and when I have an opportunity, I will send for you.”

I punished them often in all the synagogues and tried to force them to blaspheme. Because I was so furiously enraged at them, I went to persecute them even in foreign cities.

And we speak about these things, not with words taught us by human wisdom, but with those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people.

For if we are out of our minds, it is for God; if we are of sound mind, it is for you.
