TSK · Acts 9:17

Joseph said to his brothers,“Come closer to me,” so they came near. Then he said,“I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt.

He was not able to do a miracle there, except to lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them.

And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High. For you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways,

But when this son of yours came back, who has devoured your assets with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him!’

All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit, and they began to speak in other languages as the Spirit enabled them.

They stood these men before the apostles, who prayed and placed their hands on them.

He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him,“Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?”

and he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias come in and place his hands on him so that he may see again.”

Then, after they had fasted and prayed and placed their hands on them, they sent them off.

and when Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they began to speak in tongues and to prophesy.

A man named Ananias, a devout man according to the law, well spoken of by all the Jews who live there,

Exhortation to Mutual Acceptance Receive one another, then, just as Christ also received you, to God’s glory.

The first man is from the earth, made of dust; the second man is from heaven.

Do not lay hands on anyone hastily and so identify with the sins of others. Keep yourself pure.

no longer as a slave, but more than a slave, as a dear brother. He is especially so to me, and even more so to you now, both humanly speaking and in the Lord.

You have purified your souls by obeying the truth in order to show sincere mutual love. So love one another earnestly from a pure heart.
