Pray to the LORD, for the mighty thunderings and hail are too much! I will release you and you will stay no longer.”

All the people were seeing the thundering and the lightning, and heard the sound of the horn, and saw the mountain smoking– and when the people saw it they trembled with fear and kept their distance.

Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

Is this not the time of the wheat harvest? I will call on the LORD so that he makes it thunder and rain. Realize and see what a great sin you have committed before the LORD by asking for a king for yourselves.”

At this also my heart pounds and leaps from its place.

He shrouded himself in darkness, in thick rain clouds.

“May our God come and not be silent.” Consuming fire goes ahead of him and all around him a storm rages.

I said,‘Listen, my people! I will warn you! O Israel, if only you would obey me!

“You should fear me!” says the LORD.“You should tremble in awe before me! I made the sand to be a boundary for the sea, a permanent barrier that it can never cross. Its waves may roll, but they can never prevail. They may roar, but they can never cross beyond that boundary.”

In fact, the scene was so terrifying that Moses said,“I shudder with fear.”

The Amazing Scene in Heaven After these things I looked, and there was a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet said:“Come up here so that I can show you what must happen after these things.”

Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it on the earth, and there were crashes of thunder, roaring, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.
