For seven days you must eat bread made without yeast. Surely on the first day you must put away yeast from your houses because anyone who eats bread made with yeast from the first day to the seventh day will be cut off from Israel.

Moses said to the people,“Remember this day on which you came out from Egypt, from the place where you were enslaved, for the LORD brought you out of there with a mighty hand– and no bread made with yeast may be eaten.

For seven days you must eat bread made without yeast, and on the seventh day there is to be a festival to the LORD.

Now the firstling of a donkey you may redeem with a lamb, but if you do not redeem it, then break its neck. You must redeem all the firstborn of your sons.“No one will appear before me empty-handed.

Then on the fifteenth day of the same month will be the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the LORD; seven days you must eat unleavened bread.

“The Israelites are to observe the Passover at its appointed time.

The Passover-Unleavened Bread Festival Observe the month Abib and keep the Passover to the LORD your God, for in that month he brought you out of Egypt by night.

So the Israelites camped in Gilgal and celebrated the Passover in the evening of the fourteenth day of the month in the rift valley plains of Jericho.

Honor the LORD from your wealth and from the first fruits of all your crops;

The Passover Now on the first day of the feast of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover lamb is sacrificed, Jesus’ disciples said to him,“Where do you want us to prepare for you to eat the Passover?”

Clean out the old yeast so that you may be a new batch of dough– you are, in fact, without yeast. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.
