How blessed are the people who worship you! O LORD, they experience your favor.

Your lips are like a scarlet thread; your mouth is lovely. Your forehead behind your veil is like a slice of pomegranate.

Like a slice of pomegranate is your forehead behind your veil.

I would lead you and bring you to my mother’s house, the one who taught me. I would give you spiced wine to drink, the nectar of my pomegranates.

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that remains, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you.

so that you may live worthily of the Lord and please him in all respects– bearing fruit in every good deed, growing in the knowledge of God,
