For the LORD had caused infertility to strike every woman in the household of Abimelech because he took Sarah, Abraham’s wife.

The Family of Jacob When the LORD saw that Leah was unloved, he enabled her to become pregnant while Rachel remained childless.

But Joseph answered them,“Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God?

He will love and bless you, and make you numerous. He will bless you with many children, with the produce of your soil, your grain, your new wine, your oil, the offspring of your oxen, and the young of your flocks in the land which he promised your ancestors to give you.

The well-fed hire themselves out to earn food, but the hungry no longer lack. Even the barren woman has given birth to seven, but the one with many children has declined.

He makes the barren woman of the family a happy mother of children. Praise the LORD!

But I say to you that anyone who is angry with a brother will be subjected to judgment. And whoever insults a brother will be brought before the council, and whoever says‘Fool’ will be sent to fiery hell.

She exclaimed with a loud voice,“Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child in your womb!
