You must not eat any forbidden thing.

For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

But Peter said,“Certainly not, Lord, for I have never eaten anything defiled and ritually unclean!”

And now I entrust you to God and to the message of his grace. This message is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

The one who observes the day does it for the Lord. The one who eats, eats for the Lord because he gives thanks to God, and the one who abstains from eating abstains for the Lord, and he gives thanks to God.

Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who create dissensions and obstacles contrary to the teaching that you learned. Avoid them!

Now food will not bring us close to God. We are no worse if we do not eat and no better if we do.

Why? Because I do not love you? God knows I do!

Support One Another Brothers and sisters, if a person is discovered in some sin, you who are spiritual restore such a person in a spirit of gentleness. Pay close attention to yourselves, so that you are not tempted too.

Live in the Light Let nobody deceive you with empty words, for because of these things God’s wrath comes on the sons of disobedience.

Conclusion O Timothy, protect what has been entrusted to you. Avoid the profane chatter and absurdities of so-called“knowledge.”
