This is what Hezekiah did throughout Judah. He did what the LORD his God considered good and right and faithful.

Your throne, O God, is permanent. The scepter of your kingdom is a scepter of justice.

Then he will judge your people fairly, and your oppressed ones equitably.

For a child has been born to us, a son has been given to us. He shoulders responsibility and is called: Amazing Adviser, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

He will give discernment to the one who makes judicial decisions, and strength to those who defend the city from attackers.

The Lord Returns to Jerusalem“Comfort, comfort my people,” says your God.

Under his rule Judah will enjoy safety and Israel will live in security. This is the name he will go by:‘The LORD has provided us with justice.’

“‘My servant David will be king over them; there will be one shepherd for all of them. They will follow my regulations and carefully observe my statutes.

Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Look! Your king is coming to you: he is legitimate and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey– on a young donkey, the foal of a female donkey.

but of the Son he says,“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, and a righteous scepter is the scepter of your kingdom.

The Son of God Goes to War Then I saw heaven opened and here came a white horse! The one riding it was called“Faithful” and“True,” and with justice he judges and goes to war.
