TSK · Isaiah 42:5

God called the dry ground“land” and the gathered waters he called“seas.” God saw that it was good.

The LORD God formed the man from the soil of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

for while my spirit is still in me, and the breath from God is in my nostrils,

If God were to set his heart on it, and gather in his spirit and his breath,

By the LORD’s decree the heavens were made; and by the breath of his mouth all the starry hosts.

In earlier times you established the earth; the skies are your handiwork.

to the one who spread out the earth over the water, for his loyal love endures,

He is the one who sits on the earth’s horizon; its inhabitants are like grasshoppers before him. He is the one who stretches out the sky like a thin curtain, and spreads it out like a pitched tent.

The Lord Empowers Cyrus This is what the LORD, your protector, says, the one who formed you in the womb:“I am the LORD, who made everything, who alone stretched out the sky, who fashioned the earth all by myself,

For this is what the LORD says, the one who created the sky– he is the true God, the one who formed the earth and made it; he established it, he did not create it without order, he formed it to be inhabited–“I am the LORD, I have no peer.

For I will not be hostile forever or perpetually angry, for then man’s spirit would grow faint before me, the life-giving breath I created.

‘Oh, Sovereign LORD, you did indeed make heaven and earth by your mighty power and great strength. Nothing is too hard for you!

Indeed! All lives are mine– the life of the father as well as the life of the son is mine. The one who sins will die.

He builds the upper rooms of his palace in heaven and sets its foundation supports on the earth. He summons the water of the sea and pours it out on the earth’s surface. The LORD is his name.

nor is he served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives life and breath and everything to everyone.

And,“You founded the earth in the beginning, Lord, and the heavens are the works of your hands.
