TSK · Isaiah 43:13

The Vindication of the Lord“See now that I, indeed I, am he!” says the LORD,“and there is no other god besides me. I kill and give life, I smash and I heal, and none can resist my power.

If he snatches away, who can turn him back? Who dares to say to him,‘What are you doing?’

If God were to set his heart on it, and gather in his spirit and his breath,

Carefully consider this, you who reject God! Otherwise I will rip you to shreds and no one will be able to rescue you.

Your throne has been secure from ancient times; you have always been king.

From eternity I have been fashioned, from the beginning, from before the world existed.

Indeed, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies has a plan, and who can possibly frustrate it? His hand is ready to strike, and who can possibly stop it?

who announces the end from the beginning and reveals beforehand what has not yet occurred, who says,‘My plan will be realized, I will accomplish what I desire,’

All the inhabitants of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he wishes with the army of heaven and with those who inhabit the earth. No one slaps his hand and says to him,‘What have you done?’

The Lion Will Carry Israel Off Into Exile I will be like a lion to Ephraim, like a young lion to the house of Judah. I myself will tear them to pieces, then I will carry them off, and no one will be able to rescue them!

Habakkuk Voices Some Concerns LORD, you have been active from ancient times; my sovereign God, you are immortal. LORD, you have made them your instrument of judgment. Protector, you have appointed them as your instrument of punishment.

Jesus said to them,“I tell you the solemn truth, before Abraham came into existence, I am!”

In Christ we too have been claimed as God’s own possession, since we were predestined according to the purpose of him who accomplishes all things according to the counsel of his will

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever!
