Jesus replied,“If I glorify myself, my glory is worthless. The one who glorifies me is my Father, about whom you people say,‘He is our God.’

What then? If some did not believe, does their unbelief nullify the faithfulness of God?

But about Israel he says,“All day long I held out my hands to this disobedient and stubborn people!”

To the weak I became weak in order to gain the weak. I have become all things to all people, so that by all means I may save some.

Be conscientious about how you live and what you teach. Persevere in this, because by doing so you will save both yourself and those who listen to you.
