TSK · Jude 1:8

for God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will open and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

And they assembled against Moses and Aaron, saying to them,“You take too much upon yourselves, seeing that the whole community is holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them. Why then do you exalt yourselves above the community of the LORD.

Why do the nations rebel? Why are the countries devising plots that will fail?

There is a generation who curse their fathers and do not bless their mothers.

Do not curse a king even in your thoughts, and do not curse the rich while in your bedroom; for a bird might report what you are thinking, or some winged creature might repeat your words.

When it returns, it finds the house swept clean and put in order.

But the man who was unfairly hurting his neighbor pushed Moses aside, saying,‘Who made you a ruler and judge over us?

Paul replied,“I did not realize, brothers, that he was the high priest, for it is written,‘You must not speak evil about a ruler of your people.’”

Consequently the one who rejects this is not rejecting human authority but God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you.

Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls and will give an account for their work. Let them do this with joy and not with complaints, for this would be no advantage for you.

especially those who indulge their fleshly desires and who despise authority. Brazen and insolent, they are not afraid to insult the glorious ones,
