Why do you remain inactive? Intervene and destroy him!

God says,“I will bring down all the power of the wicked; the godly will be victorious.”

He will experience my faithfulness and loyal love, and by my name he will win victories.

There I will make David strong; I have determined that my chosen king’s dynasty will continue.

So he poured out his fierce anger on them, along with the devastation of war. Its flames encircled them, but they did not realize it; it burned against them, but they did not take it to heart.

So,” the Sovereign LORD says,“my raging fury will be poured out on this land. It will be poured out on human beings and animals, on trees and crops. And it will burn like a fire which cannot be extinguished.”

But I will punish you as your deeds deserve,’ says the LORD.‘I will set fire to your palace; it will burn up everything around it.’”

מ(Mem) He sent down fire into my bones, and it overcame them. He spread out a trapper’s net for my feet; he made me turn back. He has made me desolate; I am faint all day long.

“They have blown the trumpet and everyone is ready, but no one goes to battle, because my anger is against their whole crowd.

No one can withstand his indignation! No one can resist his fierce anger! His wrath is poured out like volcanic fire, boulders are broken up as he approaches.
