but in the seventh year the land must have a Sabbath of complete rest– a Sabbath to the LORD. You must not sow your field or prune your vineyard.

From where shall I get meat to give to this entire people, for they cry to me,‘Give us meat, that we may eat!’

An officer who was the king’s right-hand man responded to the prophet,“Look, even if the LORD made it rain by opening holes in the sky, could this happen so soon?” Elisha said,“Look, you will see it happen with your own eyes, but you will not eat any of the food!”

They insulted God, saying,“Is God really able to give us food in the wilderness?

Do Not Worry“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t there more to life than food and more to the body than clothing?

So do not be overly concerned about what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not worry about such things.

Your conduct must be free from the love of money and you must be content with what you have, for he has said,“I will never leave you and I will never abandon you.”
