Your basket and your mixing bowl will be cursed.

But it was he who filled their houses with good things– yet the counsel of the wicked was far from me.

I have seen ruthless evil men growing in influence, like a green tree grows in its native soil.

Their prosperity causes them to do wrong; their thoughts are sinful.

ז(Zayin) Jerusalem remembers, when she became a poor homeless person, all her treasures that she owned in days of old. When her people fell into an enemy’s grip, none of her allies came to her rescue. Her enemies gloated over her; they sneered at her downfall.

And in that very night Belshazzar, the Babylonian king, was killed.

“But woe to you who are rich, for you have received your comfort already.

And in Hades, as he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far off with Lazarus at his side.

They strengthened the souls of the disciples and encouraged them to continue in the faith, saying,“We must enter the kingdom of God through many persecutions.”

Their end is destruction, their god is the belly, they exult in their shame, and they think about earthly things.

choosing rather to be ill-treated with the people of God than to enjoy sin’s fleeting pleasure.

So I said to him,“My lord, you know the answer.” Then he said to me,“These are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb!
