He made the large basin of bronze and its pedestal of bronze from the mirrors of the women who served at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

My God, I cry out during the day, but you do not answer, and during the night my prayers do not let up.

I have asked the LORD for one thing– this is what I desire! I want to live in the LORD’s house all the days of my life, so I can gaze at the splendor of the LORD and contemplate in his temple.

Certainly spending just one day in your temple courts is better than spending a thousand elsewhere. I would rather stand at the entrance to the temple of my God than live in the tents of the wicked.

Praise the LORD! Praise the name of the LORD! Offer praise, you servants of the LORD,

Then, after they had fasted and prayed and placed their hands on them, they sent them off.

a promise that our twelve tribes hope to attain as they earnestly serve God night and day. Concerning this hope the Jews are accusing me, Your Majesty!

The one who conquers I will make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will never depart from it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God(the new Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven from my God), and my new name as well.
