TSK · Malachi 3:5

On the third day Joseph said to them,“Do as I say and you will live, for I fear God.

But you choose from the people capable men, God-fearing, men of truth, those who hate bribes, and put them over the people as rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.

“Whoever sacrifices to a god other than the LORD alone must be utterly destroyed.

You must not oppress your neighbor or commit robbery against him. You must not withhold the wages of the hired laborer overnight until morning.

If a man commits adultery with his neighbor’s wife, both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death.

You must not make use of the name of the LORD your God for worthless purposes, for the LORD will not exonerate anyone who abuses his name that way.

If you set them free, you must not send them away empty-handed.

You must pay his wage that very day before the sun sets, for he is poor and his life depends on it. Otherwise he will cry out to the LORD against you, and you will be guilty of sin.

‘Cursed is the one who perverts justice for the resident foreigner, the orphan, and the widow.’ Then all the people will say,‘Amen!’

Like a servant longing for the evening shadow, and like a hired man looking for his wages,

For the music director; written by the LORD’s servant, David; an oracle. An evil man is rebellious to the core. He does not fear God,

I said,‘Listen, my people! I will warn you! O Israel, if only you would obey me!

before the LORD! For he comes to judge the earth! He judges the world fairly, and the nations in a just manner.

Through loyal love and truth iniquity is appeased; through fearing the LORD one avoids evil.

Do not move an ancient boundary stone, or take over the fields of the fatherless,

You steal. You murder. You commit adultery. You lie when you swear on oath. You sacrifice to the god Baal. You pay allegiance to other gods whom you have not previously known.

This will happen to them because they have done what is shameful in Israel. They have committed adultery with their neighbors’ wives and have spoken lies while claiming my authority. They have spoken words that I did not command them to speak. I know what they have done. I have been a witness to it,’ says the LORD.”

“‘Therefore, this is what the Sovereign LORD says to them: Look, I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.

The speaker went on to say,“This is a curse traveling across the whole earth. For example, according to the curse whoever steals will be removed from the community; or on the other hand(according to the curse) whoever swears falsely will suffer the same fate.”

The Sacrilege of Priestly Service“A son naturally honors his father and a slave respects his master. If I am your father, where is my honor? If I am your master, where is my respect? The LORD of Heaven’s Armies asks you this, you priests who make light of my name! But you reply,‘How have we made light of your name?’

Resistance to the Lord through Self-deceit You have wearied the LORD with your words. But you say,“How have we wearied him?” Because you say,“Everyone who does evil is good in the LORD’s opinion, and he delights in them,” or“Where is the God of justice?”

But the other rebuked him, saying,“Don’t you fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation?

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! The sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, passive homosexual partners, practicing homosexuals,

In this matter no one should violate the rights of his brother or take advantage of him, because the Lord is the avenger in all these cases, as we also told you earlier and warned you solemnly.

Marriage must be honored among all and the marriage bed kept undefiled, for God will judge sexually immoral people and adulterers.

You also be patient and strengthen your hearts, for the Lord’s return is near.

Now Enoch, the seventh in descent beginning with Adam, even prophesied of them, saying,“Look! The Lord is coming with thousands and thousands of his holy ones,

Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the sexually immoral, and the murderers, and the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood!
